Private commissions

Private commissions are currently CLOSED. Please come back in July! (You are still welcome to inquire about your request, but I can only take non-urgent jobs at the moment.)

When inquiring about commissioning a piece of artwork, please be aware that:

— The base price for custom work is currently $130 per A4 page (8.5 by 11 inches). For instance, a painting of A2 size would have a base price of $520 - four times A4. The actual final price depends on complexity of work, the required deadline, and on what rights are transferred to the client. Publication rights cost extra, as do rush jobs.

— I will provide you with preliminary sketches for review, and up to one major or two minor sketch revisions based on your feedback are indluded in the base price. Subsequent revisions or alterations are done at extra charge only, but paid revisions are unlimited.

— I require a safety deposit of $100 up front before I put pencil to paper. The deposit counts towards the final price. You also pay the shipping costs.

When requesting a price quote, please describe the desired size of the illustration, the medium it should be done for, whether you want the original or the reproduction rights, the deadline, and the description of the illustration's content.

I work in digital, graphite pencil and colored pencils on paper, watercolor on paper, acrylic on canvas, and mixed media. Other media are negotiable.

Originals for sale

I have original paintings for sale. I can also produce an author's copy of any picture you see in the gallery, in the same medium as the original, except digital works. Email me for a price quote if you are interested.

Publishers and corporate clients

Non-private clients please email for a price quote and terms negotiation. I do character design, concept design, illustration, illustration series, and so on.

Prints

Print sales will be announced as soon as I pick the service to make and deliver the prints.
